The device features a high-efficiency PIR sensor that instantly responds to thermal changes. With digital signal processing and temperature compensation, the detector offers reliable performance and minimizes false alarms, even under strong lighting conditions — with light resistance exceeding 6500 Lux. The vertical beam shape enables accurate motion detection at distances of up to 10 meters with a narrow detection angle of 7.5°.
The detector operates in the 868–868.6 MHz ISM band and communicates via a secure two-way radio channel with 256-bit encryption. It has a wireless range of up to 4800 meters in open space. The device is equipped with tamper protection and supports OTA (Over-the-Air) firmware updates.
Powered by a single CR123A lithium battery, the U-Prox PIR VB offers a battery life of up to 5 years. It supports flat or corner mounting using included brackets. Compact and lightweight, the device is designed for indoor use and performs reliably in temperatures from –10 to +55 °C.
