The Ajax LeaksProtect wireless flood detector is designed to detect flooding in a protected room and transmit an alarm signal to the Ajax Hub smart control panel. The detector detects water intrusion in seconds, but cancels the alarm when it dries. It works at a considerable distance from the Ajax Hub: 1300 meters of open space or several floors of a building. The detector is waterproof, with nickel-plated contacts, and has a battery life of up to 5 years.
