It is powered by two AAA (LR03) batteries and provides up to 5 years of continuous operation. The device communicates over a secure, two-way radio channel using 256-bit encryption. Operating on the 868–868.6 MHz (EU/UA) or 916.5–917 MHz (AU) frequency band, it has a communication range of up to 4800 meters in open space.
U-Prox Water supports over-the-air firmware updates, tamper protection, and features an IP65-rated sealed enclosure. Its compact size makes it easy to position anywhere without tools or mounting.
