Features

The DIGITUS USB 4.0 third-generation cable enables data, video, audio and power transmission through a single USB Type-C interface. It is used to connect compatible laptops, docking stations, monitors and other USB-C peripherals.

The USB 4.0 standard provides data transfer speeds of up to 20 Gbps. Declared backward compatibility includes Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.2, USB 3.1 and USB 2.0, allowing operation with different generations of USB-C equipment depending on the capabilities of specific ports.

For video, signal transmission is supported up to 8K (7680 × 4320) at 60 Hz, up to 5K (5120 × 2880) at 60 Hz and 4K (3840 × 2160) at 60 Hz. Video output capabilities depend on DisplayPort Alt Mode support and the graphics subsystem, as well as limitations of the connected display. Dual 4K output is possible when supported by the device.

Support for USB Power Delivery Revision 3.0 enables charging power of up to 100 W at 20 V and 5 A when used with a compatible charger. The cable features double shielding and an outer PP jacket. The connector housings are made of aluminum with gold-plated contact surfaces. Cable length is 3 m, outer diameter is 5.0 mm, and total weight is 45 g.
