The device is powered by two CR123A batteries, with an additional CR2032 backup battery for tamper protection. It is completely autonomous and does not require a wired power supply, offering up to 5 years of battery life at a standard polling interval of 36 seconds.

Communication with the hub is established via the secure Jeweller radio protocol (868 MHz), ensuring reliable two-way communication at distances of up to 1700 m in open space. The module continuously monitors its status, transmitting events such as low battery, tamper activation, connection loss, and input/output faults with accurate device and zone identification to the central panel.

Each input supports NO, NC modes, and EOL configurations (1EOL/2EOL/3EOL). Through the Ajax mobile app, users can configure the type of event (fire, alarm, fault, etc.) for each input and set resistor values for EOL connections. The relay outputs can operate in bistable (latching) or impulse mode (from 1 second up to 1 hour 30 minutes). Additionally, a fail-safe mode is available, where the output is automatically activated in case of device failure or communication loss.

The module is mounted in a tamper-protected casing with a built-in spirit level for precise alignment. Device pairing with the system is done via QR code using the Ajax mobile app.
