The TP‑LINK SM321A is a quality single-fiber SFP transceiver supporting up to 1.25 Gbps (1000Base‑BX) over a single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 10 km. Utilizing WDM BX technology, it enables full-duplex transmission on one fiber: a 1550 nm Tx and 1310 nm Rx signal are multiplexed over a single strand. This significantly cuts fiber deployment costs, especially in hard-to-access areas.

The module complies with the SFP‑MSA standard and works seamlessly with TP‑LINK gear (routers, switches, MC220L media converters) as well as third-party equipment. It supports DDM (Digital Diagnostic Monitoring), allowing real-time tracking of temperature, Tx/Rx power, and current.

Its hot-swappable metal housing allows replacement without powering down devices. Powered by a standard 3.3 V, it features an LC‑UPC connector and meets CE and FCC certifications.
